Damariscotta Baptist Church

 

People to People is a cooperative ministry that provides clothing, bedding and small kitchen items to families in our community.  There are no restrictions on who is able to receive any items, as there are no forms to fill out and no income requirements.  There is simply a warm welcome!

 

They are open from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM every Monday and are located in the basement of Damariscotta Baptist Church.  Please note: they are closed on legal holidays and whenever Great Salt Bay School closes due to snow storms.

 

Items can be dropped off at any time.  Simply put them in the stairway to the basement on the Main Street side of the building next to the small handicapped parking area.  They accept CLEAN clothing, bedding and small household items.  They do NOT accept any electronics.  They do not have laundry facilities, so please do not drop off unclean items.  Thank you.

 

The Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from several of the area churches.
